el yunque national forest & beyond

I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in February of 2019. While there, I explored one of the world's most beautiful beaches, named Flamenco Beach on the island of Culebra. I also got a glimpse of the only tropical rainforest within the U.S. Forest Service - El Yunque National Forest. El Yunque is roughly twenty-eight thousand acres and is home to 150 fern species and 240 different tree species. I hope you enjoy these photographs of this naturally beautiful island as much as I enjoyed exploring and taking the photographs.
